Molten Slumber

2023-2024 | Stoneware, copper

Abir Patwardhan, a versatile cross-disciplinary artist shapes narratives through his sculptures, drawings, paintings, and theater production designs. He is fascinated by life and the earth that holds it; by our constantly forming and transforming planet. This enchantment informs and propels his practice.

Molten Slumber is a reflection of this profound fascination. It seeks to capture the interplay between material, form, and their transformations over timescales.
